Association of Childcare Physicians provides a full spectrum of pediatric care for children from birth through adolescence. Our doctors are board certified pediatricians committed to staying current on continuing medical education. Our practice proudly has been serving patients in the Metro East St. Louis area since 1965, and we are grateful for the many families who have trusted us with their care for multiple generations.

Dr. Robert V. Kellow
“Dr. Bob,” as many patients call him, joined Association of Childcare Physicians in July of 1998. He received his B.A. in physiology with a minor in chemistry from Southern Illinois University—Carbondale. He attended Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Ill., where he earned his Doctor of Medicine designation. Kellow’s post-graduate training included a pediatric internship and pediatric residency in San Antonio, Texas at Brook Army Medical Center. From July 1994 to June 1998, Kellow proudly served and gained valuable medical experience in the U.S. Army at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.
Dr. Kellow has served as the chief of pediatric services at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville, and he has participated in the St. Louis Children’s Hospital/Washington University C.O.P.E. residency program since 2000. He is a member of the St. Clair Medical Society, the Illinois Medical Association and the American Medical Association; maintains his medical license in Illinois and Missouri; is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and also is certified in pediatric advanced life saving. Dr. Kellow also is a clinical assistant professor for the Washington University School of Medicine.
Dr. Eleanor Shaw
Dr. Shaw joined our practice in 1992 and provides direct care for patients from birth through eighteen years of age. She completed her undergraduate studies and received her Doctor of Medicine designation from University of Missouri—Columbia School of Medicine. Her pediatric residency was completed through the University of Texas Medical School in San Antonio.
Dr. Shaw has achieved a vast array of professional experience and specialty training. In addition to her many years in leadership and teaching positions at several hospitals and universities, her list of credentials includes:
- Medical licensure in Illinois and Missouri
- Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics
- Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics
- Diplomate of the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians
- Assistant Clinical Professor for the Washington University School of Medicine
- Participation in the St. Louis Children’s Hospital/Washington University C.O.P.E. residency program
